Drumming parties for kids of all ages 5-85

Get everyone behind a drum to make your party go with a bang! I've done everything from children's birthday parties to surprise 60th retirement parties, events for the elderly, Scouts/Guides' celebrations, weddings and staff team-building/Inset days. As well as rousing your friends with traditional rhythms from West Africa and singing the joyous songs they accompany, I can also offer various themes (arriving in relevant costumes), including:

We'll bring lots of drums for everyone to have a go! As well as djembe we can play dun duns, Ghanaian drums and percussion, plus other cosmic instruments for some of the above themes.

For double the fun, I can come along with my co-facilitator Chrissie Martin. Just in case you're wondering, both myself and Chrissie are First Aid trained and CRB/DBS-checked (Enhanced Disclosure) for working with children and vulnerable adults.

Cost

Typical cost for a 1-hour fun session for, say, twenty excitable 7 year-olds would be around £140 plus travel; add 50% for Chrissie coming too. Since costs can vary from £100 to £500, please contact me with full details of what you're planning.

Note: young children need small (Primary School size) chairs/benches, as adult-sized chairs are too high for kids' drums.
