University of Hertfordshire short courses

This is the first university evening class in African Drumming I know
of! :-) In addition to
teaching the degree students and
staff
for many years, I've taught these short courses in Hatfield for over a year
now, and due to popular demand, also ran an extra Summer School short course
in 2011.
The current course (now full) runs on Monday nights from 10th Oct 2011 until 30th Jan 2012. The next course from 6th Feb 2012 until 28th May is for Improver-Intermediate level players and above. Beginners are advised to wait until the next course in October, or we may possibly have another Summer School as well - watch this space.
We have a number of spare drums you can borrow, and I can advise about buying good drums.
The cost is £160 for the course of fourteen sessions (no discount if you can't make every week), payable in advance. Please contact Lorraine to make bookings via the University website - I am not involved with booking.
